Silent Music

At the age of 5 the sounds of the church organ seemed to open the doors of heaven for the "first" time;
the organist was the very modest - but reknowned over the world as a teacher for improvisation - Cor Kee.
In the music on this page I often used the sounds of the organ that are so familiar to me.
The music starts in awe for the views of heaven; then the sun comes through and a street party and a dance encourage us to take things less heavily.
This piece was made just after the disaster in 1992 in Amsterdam-Bijlmer, when a 747 fell down on a flat; the shock was felt literally in most parts of the city; gradually some comfort is found.
A contemplative piece.
A sunday-morning walk, organ-music as companion.
Again a contemplative piece of organ-music.
This part is called "Kundalini"; it describes how this energy rises through the spine, bringing enlightenment.
A cradle-song; for me this song tells too about the peace and surrender you could die with.
Wake-up call; like an improvisation after a joyful church service.
